The VelociRAX 3X vertical bike rack holds up to 3 bikes and has 381mm spacing between tire baskets. This rack is ideal for small groups and can store a wide variety of bike styles and sizes. Comfortably load this rack with three road bikes or throw on a combination of road, mountain bikes, or e-bikes with the available spacing. UV-tested rubber straps are included to secure bikes while ONLY contacting the tires. When looking for a bike rack for a small group, this one is the way to go for optimal storage, easy usage, and bike security.

VelociRAX are patent pending with user-friendly features. There is no need to lift bikes onto this rack when using the roll in and roll out loading method, which means kids can load their own bikes! Integrated hydraulic dampers assist fully loaded racks when lowering to the load position, so don’t worry about bikes crashing down when lowering the rack. All VelociRAX also come with a garage wall mount to store the rack with bikes when not on a vehicle.

- Hinge assist dampers for fully loaded hinging
- Garage wall mounting kit
- Built-in anti-rattle mechanism
- VelociRAX tire straps
- Rubber bands for brake lever engagement
- 12.7mm (1/2 inch) hitch pin with keyed lock
- All needed hardware
- Assembly and Use Instructions

- 381 mm (15") spacing between bikes
- Hitch mounted vertical bike rack holding up to 3 bikes
- Assembled width - 1066.8 mm (42")
- Assembled height - 1473.2 mm (58")
- Weight - 33.1 kg (73 lbs)
- Load capacity - 104.3 kg (230 lbs) at 25 kg (55 lbs) per bike max
- eBike ready: 3 standard ebikes (we recommend removing batteries if you are able)

- 50mm (2") Class III hitch (tow bar) with tongue capacity of 227 kg (500 lbs)
- 86mm (3 3/8 inch) depth past center of hitch pin hole to insert a VelociRAX
-Fixed tow balls are NOT compatible with VelociRAX hitch racks
- RVs/Trailers: you will need to have a Class III 50mm (2 inch) hitch receiver (tow bar) with a tongue weight capacity of 227 kg (500 lbs) at a minimum (bumper hitches, extension hitches, and hitches with cantilevered sections allow too much hitch movement and are inadequate). One item to check is if a ladder could possibly interfere with the rack. Trailers and RVs produce extreme forces on racks and bikes. Take extra care to strap tight and use rubber bands (or bike tubes cut in ~ 25mm (1 inch sections)) placed on the brake levers to decrease natural motion between bike and rack and fully secure the VelociRAX's built-in anti-rattle system.

Lift is great and I can get into the back of my sprinter van when bikes are in the down position. Bikes are super secure and I love that the only contact points are the tires. So much easier to load than my 1up and Kuat racks (Still use those if I'm only bringing 1 bike not 3).

Also bought the wheeled stand and keep three bikes loaded on it in my garage. How many bikes does one need = n+1.

The only negative was I needed to add a 7" extension so the rear doors on my Ford 250 Transit conversion could both be opened with the rack laid down. Saving me a lot of work. Using the rack folded down and as a bike rack, works great for me as we have a Moon canopy off the back. Very rigid mount, bikes travel very well with a rear profile narrower and extend less than other 4 bike racks. I only install straps for the number of bikes transported, to extend the life of rubber. Strongly recommend it and would purchase it again!

Best rack I have had

We have used this rack everyday for several months behind a 30 foot RV. It is excellent, easy to use, solid and stable even with all the gravel road dispersed camping we do. We had to buy separate bike covers which was disappointing, hope VELOCIRAX could supply have their own covers in the future, these are really necessary.

The rack weighs a ton! It really makes me wonder if I am going to keep it or not. Feature-wise, it is great. I like that it currently is mounted to my garage wall and I have 2 bikes hanging that otherwise I'd have taking up double the floor space. But, Jesus! It is going to be unwieldly getting it back in my towing mount.
