The VelociRAX 7 hitch-mounted vertical bike rack holds up to 7 bikes and has 254mm (10 inch) spacing between tire baskets. Whether you are a family full of bike lovers, want to travel with a hefty bike load, or are looking to expand your riding circle, this rack will suit your needs. Having the ability to travel with extra bikes when more people are looking to join in on the fun is always a plus. UV-tested rubber straps are included to quickly secure bikes in place while ONLY contacting the bike’s tires. Your bike rack should be the least of your worries when traveling, so let this rack do the work so you can enjoy the ride.

VelociRAX are patent pending with tons of user-friendly features. There is no need to lift bikes onto this rack when using the roll-in and roll-out loading method, which means kids can load their bikes! Integrated hydraulic dampers assist fully loaded racks when lowering to the load position, so don’t worry about bikes crashing down when lowering this rack. All VelociRAX also come with a garage wall mount that can be used to store this rack with bikes when the rack is not on a vehicle.

You can fully load this rack with flat handlebar bikes (like mountain bikes), but a drop handlebar bike (like a road bike) can fit on the far end if desired.

- RVs/Trailers: you will need to have a Class III 50mm (2 inch) hitch receiver (tow bar) with a tongue weight capacity of 227 kg (500 lbs) at a minimum (bumper hitches, extension hitches, and hitches with cantilevered sections allow too much hitch movement and are inadequate). One item to check is if a ladder could possibly interfere with the rack. Trailers and RVs produce extreme forces on racks and bikes. Take extra care to strap tight and use rubber bands (or bike tubes cut in ~ 25mm (1 inch sections)) placed on the brake levers to decrease natural motion between bike and rack and fully secure the VelociRAX's built-in anti-rattle system.

Love my rack. We have the one that accommodates 7 bikes. It’s incredible easy to get the rack on and off the back of my truck and equally easy to get bikes on and off the rack

The only “complaint” is that you need to load and unload bikes from the outside in. Not a big deal unless you need to unload a bike that isn’t on the end.

One of the other functions I love is the ability to remove the rack from a vehicle, attach wheels to the rack, wheel the rack into the garage and use for bike storage in the garage.

Highly recommend this rack, it also does great on the highway when traveling over 65 mph.

So far so great! When considering the larger footprint RAX options we immediately settled on the 7! The options are just too great and outWEIGH the only negative I could come up with... weight. We regularly carry 4 flat bar bikes and THIS rack makes it so easy to load and unload ANY bike in ANY order... with 4. Add more? We also regularly carry 4 flat and 2 drop-bar bikes. Add more? There is always the option to carry 7! SEVEN! yes... SEVEN bikes. If you own a vehicle with 3rd row seating... guess what? You get a bike... you get a bike... you get a bike... you get a bike... you get a bike... you get a bike... and that's right YOU ALL get bikes!! (well.. flat bar bikes... or 6 flat and 1 drop-bar)

I purchased the VelociRAX 7 for my Nantucket Bike Tours business and it has worked out perfectly. I can transport up to 15 bikes at a time by adding the VelociRAX 7 to the back of my pickup. The quality of the rack is excellent and it is very easy to use....if you need a multi bike rack the VelociRAX 7 is awesome.

Beat rack ever. Assembled and hauled my bikes on a 2500 mile road trip. No issues at all. I had 29" MTB, 27.7 MTB, 20" kids bike, and a road bike loaded on this thing and it made our trip so much easier. Great rack!
